Notes |
Chelating anti-coagulants such as EDTA must be avoided. EDTA contaminated samples will not be reported for Alkaline Phosphatase. Refer to order of draw to prevent contamination. Protect specimens from exposure to light. Total bilirubin may be decreased by light exposure. |
