D-Dimer test can be performed on the same sample as Coagulation Screen (PT/APTT). Enquries to (01) 416 2910 during routine hours (8am to 8pm) Monday to Friday and 9am to 1pm Saturday. Out of hours, contact Haematology Medical Scientist on-call, bleep 671 through main hospital switchboard (01) 410 3000. The D-Dimer test is available to SJH and other hospitals. It is not available as part of the GP test repertoire. The Coagulation Consultant on-call should be contacted through the hospital switchboard on 01 410 3000 for advice to GPs regarding D-Dimer testing. |
