Samples must be received in the National Coagulation Laboratory, Centre for Laboratory Medicine and Molecular Pathology, by 4pm Monday - Friday. This test is referred to the Haemophilia Centre and Thrombosis Unit Laboratory, Royal Free Hospital, London. The laboratory does not forward samples from external agencies to the referral laboratory for analysis. External agencies should arrange transport and analysis with a referral laboratory of choice for this test. Enquiries during routine hours Monday - Friday 9am-5pm to 01 4162049. The Coagulation Consultant on-call can be contacted through the hospital switchboard at 01 410 3000.
