Samples can be sent at any time for analysis. Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm contact National Coagulation Laboratory, Centre for Laboratory Medicine and Molecular Pathology, on 01 416 2049. Outside of Monday - Friday 9am-5pm, please contact Haematology Medical Scientist on-call on bleep 671 (or through main hospital switchboard) to arrange sample receipt. This test is sent to The Doctors Laboratory (TDL), London for analysis. The laboratory does not forward samples from external agencies to the referral laboratory for analysis. External agencies should arrange transport and analysis with a referral laboratory of choice for this test. The Coagulation Consultant on-call can be contacted through the hospital switchboard on 01 410 3000.
