Samples must be received in National Coagulation Laboratory, Centre for Laboratory Medicine and Molecular Pathology, by 4pm Monday - Friday. The fibrinogen antigen assay is used for the immunological assessment of fibrinogen levels. Please refer to information under test 'Fibrinogen' for the routine fibrinogen assay.
