Samples must be received in National Coagulation Laboratory, Centre for Laboratory Medicine and Molecular Pathology, by 4pm Monday - Friday. This is part of the Von Willebrand Screen which includes VWF:Ag, VWF:RCo, VWF:CB, Factor VIII:C and VWF:Multimers. See Von Willebrands Screen for full sample requirements. This test is part of the Von Willebrands screen for classification purposes and is only analysed in certain curcumstances or at the request of the Coagulation Consultant. Enquires to 01 416 2049 during routine hours, Monday - Friday 9am-5pm. The Coagulation Consultant on-call can be contacted through the hospital switchboard on 01 410 3000. |
