Alex2 is used to provide information to aid the diagnosis of patients suffering from IgE-mediated diseases in conjunction with other clinical findings or diagnostic test results. This is available to the St James's Hospital Clinical Immunology Team only. Discussion with the Clinical Immunology team is required if other hospitals require access to this assay. This will be reviewed on a case by case basis. This will not be made available to Primary care.
