Useful for: Detecting circulating basement membrane antibodies that can be present in Bullous Pemphigoid, Cicatritial Pemphigoid, Epidermolysis Bullosa Aquisitia (EBA) and bullous eruptions associated with Lupus Erethematosis (LE). Clinical Information: The serum of patients with an autoimmune or inflammatory disease of the skin, often contain immunoglobulin, complement and/or fibrinogen directed against skin antigens. All Circulating Skin Antibodies (IgG) are titred at 1:10, 1:20, 1:40 and 1:80. |
