For Aptima collection kits please phone the Microbiology office on 01 416 2966. Specimens are sent to the National Virus Reference Laboratory, University College Dublin, belfield, Dublin 4 for testing. Samples should be transported to the laboratory without delay. Samples can be stored at room temperature prior to transport, or if there is a delay in transportation to the laboratory. |
