All diagnostic specimens from ?mpox patients should be labelled clearly with “?mpox hazard” labelling. Labels are available from the Virology lab on extn: 2969, or please label samples manually.
Send sample to the laboratory without delay. Sample should be refrigerated if not transported immediately.
