Samples are analysed using the Abbott Alinity i Immunoanalyser Samples may be stored on the clot or red blood cells for up to 7 days at 2-8°C prior to being tested. Specimens for Syphilis TP cannot be assayed after this time. Please ensure prompt transport of specimens. Send sample to the laboratory without delay. Sample should be refrigerated if not transported immediately.
