Patient consent form must be completed prior to sample collection, signed by the patient and instructor and held in patient chart. Collection instructions are available here. Please note: Urinary Catecholamines,( Noradrenaline, Adrenaline & Dopamine) , Urinary Metanephrines , and 5HIAA are currently being analysed in Beaumont hospital laboratory by Mass Spec. VMA & HVA are unavailable for adults. 5HIAA should be collected into a darkened acidified container. Tests available to SJH patients only. |
