Notes |
Confirm mother is RhD negative before proceeding. Please phone the Blood Transfusion laboratory to obtain correct form for referral. Sample from mother must be taken >60 minutes post delivery. Cord blood sample from baby may be taken immediately. Samples and request forms to be sent to Blood Transfusion laboratory to arrange referral to coombe. Report will be phoned to the team when received by Blood Transfusion laboratory. Hard copy will be scanned to EPR. |
